Godzilla x Kong Trailer – Exploring the MonsterVerse
The newest movie in MonsterVerse by Warner Bros./Legendary Entertainment picks up after the clash between Godzilla and Kong in 2021. The trailer for The New Empire takes us deeper into the mysteries of the Hollow Earth and introduces a new Titan threat, bringing Godzilla and Kong together in an unexpected alliance.
Adam Wingard, the filmmaker behind Godzilla vs. Kong, returns as the director. The familiar faces making a comeback include Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, and Kaylee Hottle. Joining the team is British actor Dan Stevens, who previously collaborated with Wingard on The Guest (2014).

The cast also welcomes new members: Fala Chen, Alex Ferns, and Rachel House. The screenplay is crafted by Terry Rossio, Simon Barrett, and Jeremy Slater.
The New Empire marks the fifth installment in the MonsterVerse, following Godzilla (2014), Kong: Skull Island (2017), Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), and Godzilla vs. Kong (2021). Additionally, two TV series have expanded the franchise—Skull Island (2023), an anime on Netflix, and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (2023), a live-action series on Apple TV+.
Originally set for a March 15, 2024 release, The New Empire’s premiere has been rescheduled to April 12, 2024.
