Last Monday, the news of Piya Chakraborty and Parambrata Chatterjee’s wedding emerged. Piya Chakraborty was admitted to the hospital secretly after the wedding. She had undergone kidney stone surgery on November 29. Taking a short break, the couple traveled abroad. Param shared pictures from Dublin, where Christmas celebrations have already begun. In a photo at Malahide Castle, Piya captioned, ‘Christmas season has already started in Dublin.’

On the other hand, Parambrata Chatterjee shared a post on Instagram, featuring a black jacket over jeans, a hat on his head, and gloves in his hands. Sending warm wishes from chilly Dublin, he remains somewhat reserved on social media, revealing only glimpses of his personal life.

Starting tomorrow (Tuesday), the 29th Kolkata International Film Festival kicks off. Parambrata Chatterjee, usually seen at the opening ceremony, will be absent this time. It was known earlier that he would miss the event due to his commitment to his honeymoon and spending quality time with his wife. However, he won’t host the closing ceremony either.

After the wedding, Parambrata Chatterjee took to social media to share pictures with Piya Chakraborty. Channeling T.S. Eliot’s poem, he expressed, ‘Our journey begins when evening falls in the sky.’

Reflecting on the wedding, Parambrata Chatterjee revealed, ‘We wanted to keep the wedding very private from the beginning. It was an intimate affair at home. We skipped formalities and rituals. Now, we’ve invited friends to a friend’s house for a celebration. Let’s see what big plans we have in the future.’
