Ricardo Drue born in Antigua on July 31, 1985. Ricardo Drue has emerged as a passionate rising star in the Soca music scene. At the age of 4, he relocated to Cocoyea San Fernando, Trinidad & Tobago. Growing up in a musical household, Ricardo discovered his love for music early on. Influenced by Soca, Reggae, R&B, and Hip Hop throughout his life, he took center stage as the lead singer of Crossovah, a dance and vocal quartet, in 2006. The group gained international recognition as the opening act for artists like Jeffery Osborne, Fat Joe, Sean Kingston, and more.

In 2010, Ricardo stepped away from Crossovah to pursue a solo career. From 2010 to 2014, he achieved significant milestones. He became the co-lead singer of the Roy Cape All Stars band in Trinidad and Tobago in 2011 and a brand ambassador for Digicel Antigua & Barbuda in 2012. 2013 marked the release of his debut studio album, “Dreams of My Reality,” featuring the breakout single “Dreaming.” The following year, his second album, “My Time,” was released, earning him the title of Power Soca Monarch of Antigua and Barbuda. June 21, 2014, was officially declared “Ricardo Drue Day” in Boston.

2015 proved to be Ricardo’s breakthrough year. He secured the 2nd Runner-Up spot in Trinidad & Tobago’s International Groovy Soca Monarch competition with “Vagabond,” which also won Music Video of the Year at the 2015 International Soca Awards. Additionally, he claimed the Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the COTT Awards, defended his Power Soca Monarch crown in Antigua & Barbuda, and released hit singles like “No Shame,” “Rider,” “Winner,” and “Bet.” “Professional,” his groovy release, gained massive popularity in Antigua, Barbados, Canada, North and South America. The latter part of 2015 saw his single “Bet” gaining momentum.
