In a conversation with Fox News Digital, Schneider shared, “It’s going to be tough. Grief is a peculiar thing. It catches you off guard and hits you when you least expect it, usually when you’re having a good time. It’s as if grief decides, ‘No, you won’t smile today, you won’t laugh today.’ But, you know, thinking that grief will completely vanish is unrealistic.”

The country music singer, father of Leah (35), Chasen (31), and Karis (27) from his previous marriage to Elly Castle, is planning to spend the holiday season with his stepdaughter Jessica and her husband Daniel Turner. They aim to honor Alicia’s memory by doing what they would have done if she were still alive, even though Schneider acknowledges it will be emotionally challenging.
“We’ll spend all that time together, much like we would have if Alicia were here. We’ll celebrate her life and miss her dearly. But it’s tough, very tough,” he added. “We’re commemorating such a wonderful life and the profound impact she had on all of us.”
